Trust and Interpersonal Disclosure Lab

About the Lab

The Trust and Interpersonal Disclosure Lab (TIDL) at George Mason University is dedicated to studying trust, interpersonal communication, and disclosure in various contexts. Our team seeks to understand the dynamics of trust and disclosure in relationships, organizations, and online environments that concern mental health and well-being. Through our research, we aim to contribute to the knowledge and understanding of how people, especially those from minoritized, vulnerable, and stigmatized communities make decisions about whom to trust with their mental health care, concerns, and needs.
